Happy New Year! It’s time to get inspired, connect with other quilters … and resolve to make more quilts! You can do all three at our January guild meeting!

When:

Thursday, January 9
7:00 p.m.

Where:

*new location in the Alberta Arts District*

The meeting will be in the community center, which is behind the main church building. There are two parking lots.

What’s in store:
  • Door prizes from Robert Kaufman
  • A hands-on activity to get your creative juices flowing
  • Announcing a new, super fun quilt-along for 2014
  • Show and tell!

Don’t forget to bring:
  • Colored pencils, markers, or crayons for a creative exercise
  • A mug for coffee or tea (we’ll have hot beverages on hand!)
  • Any charity BOMs from 2013
  • Any Riley Blake blocks (to be made into charity quilts for Camp Erin)
  • Cash or check in the amount of $40 for 2014 membership, if you haven’t renewed already. If you would like to pay with debit or credit card, the price is $41.50 to cover fees.
  • Your quilts for show and tell, of course!

Modern Domestic discount:

PMQG members get 20% off at Modern Domestic the day of the meeting! Visit them at 1408 NE Alberta—just down the street from St. Andrews Church.

  1. Is the meeting time permanently changed to second Thursday or is this a one time thing?

  2. Hi Claire!

The meetings will be on different days until May when we get back to our Third Thursday schedule. Check the "meetings tab" on the blog for all the dates, and you should also be receiving an email soon with that info. See you Thursday hopefully!
